About
Jessica Kao has been teaching body movement for over 12 years and takes an unconventional approach to teaching. She combines her experience as a competitive ballroom dancer, her background from her graduate studies at Stanford Medical School in Oncology, and experience as not being afraid to be silly and laugh in class. She was exposed to yoga while in graduate school in 2004. She has been hooked since and has been able to deepen her practice through completion of RYT 200 hour certification with Edna Barr in 2013. Jessica has also been studying and teaching dance since 2000. She found yoga as a way to ground herself and find balance from the typical silicon valley corporate lifestyle. She is passionate about providing a nurturing, supportive, environment helping newer students build and establish a strong foundation while helping more seasoned students refine their practice as they continue on their yoga journey.
Jessica,
The sequence you went through this Satvmorning in Mnt View to stretch out all muscles around hip area was wonderful. Remember that excellent routine. Best my hips, lower back, and upper legs have felt in half a year, maybe longer.
Thank you.
Hi Patrick,
I’m so glad you enjoyed it. I look forward to seeing you next time.
I just did your class at the 24 hour fitness in Sunnyvale and it was great. I like that you explain the proper way of doing certain poses. I needed that.
Hi Olivia,
I’m so glad you enjoyed it. See you next time!

I attend Sunnyvale 24-hour fitness yoga class on Sunday morning. Jessica is most technical and detailed Yoga instructor I have met so far. It pulls up me into next level.
Thanks,
